1. Rowlee Wines
Rowlee weddings are managed by Wedshed, and with their new onsite restaurant, multiple spaces for wedding ceremony sites and reception options including an older style barn, site for marquees or architecturally designed restaurant spaces, Rowlee is one of Orange’s best wedding venues. With a luxe country vibe, Rowlee is surrounded by paddocks on one side of the cellar door and their award winning rolling vineyards on the other. They have a dedicated garden area around a country homestead for outdoor ceremonies and it’s an easy walk between your ceremony location and your reception in a marquee or in their newly renovated barn. Rowlee also offers on-site accommodation a few hundred metres from their cellar door.
2. Philip Shaw Wines
Philip Shaw has a distinct cellar door vibe with multiple options for wet weather wedding ceremony and reception sites. With a unique blue stone, terraced garden aesthetic the Philip Shaw cellar door is definitely an extension of their brand embodied by their premium wines. Onsite catering, a dedicated function space inside their bluestone cellar door and old timber railway sleepers that look like roman archways as a ceremony backdrop provide a really different and very luxe but laid back wedding feel. Philip Shaw’s cellar door has a huge amount of outdoor space with terraced gardens flowing up to the bluestone reception area. Perfect for lawn games and outdoor canapes with views across their property and gardens to for guests to enjoy.
3. Heifer Station Wines
Weddings at Heifer Station are such a vibe and definitely have that wow factor for your guests! The award winning vineyard has multiple areas to hold your ceremony in paddocks and vineyards and reception options including long tables outside under the stars - in the vines - or seated dining in their newly built cellar door. They don’t provide catering but have facilities for catering to come onsite for weddings and have a cute little loft accommodation to stay overnight. Wander around the upper vineyards for your private portrait session while guests enjoy canapes and cocktails in the vines.
4. Borrodell Vineyard
Borrodell has been a fixture on the Orange wedding scene for years. And for good reason. Perched high up on the hill overlooking the Towac Valley, the drive into Borrodell is almost as pretty as the views from the terrace up top. Lined with orchards and vineyards, Borrodell has onsite accommodation and can either have a marquee lawn set-up or host your reception in their spacious wine tasting hall. They have a restaurant with award winning chefs on site and provide competitive ceremony/reception/food and beverage packages. The private ceremony is framed by rusted columns, perfect for attaching floral installations.
4. Printhie Wines
Printhie offers a very small and exclusive amount of weddings and elopements every year. You’ll have to contact the team to enquire about your wedding and fingers crossed it’s a big yes! An award winning cellar door with exceptional food and wine, Printhie has a very limited number of weddings each year at its brand new cellar door building surrounded by vines, apple orchards and paddocks. There are multiple sites to hold your ceremony including a stunning olive grove with views over the hills below. Treat your guests to one of the premium cellar door experiences in Orange and want to make an entrance? Then arrive by helicopter! Printhie has more than enough space to fly you in and wow your guests before you walk down the aisle. Definitely one of my fave places in Orange!
5. Mayfield Vineyard Wines
Also managed by Wedshed Mayfield Vineyard has a beautiful country style mansion onsite that can sleep 12 people and is only 10 minutes from town. With new facilities including a wet weather ceremony location surrounded by the stunning vineyard, one of the best parts about Mayfield Vineyard is you can have the whole vineyard and cellar door area to yourself all weekend and can make use of the beautiful property to host your wedding, reception, recovery breakfast and all of the good stuff!
6. Stockman’s Ridge Wines
Stockman’s Ridge has a brand new purpose built clear and black marquee that is absolutely stunning. There are multiple outdoor ceremony sites with the vineyard and bush as backdrops with a short walk to the reception in the beautiful marquee. Surrounded by paddocks and vines with award winning wines, Stockman’s Ridge is a stunning wedding venue in Orange. There are fire pits outside for ambience (and warmth) and the clear marquee means you can stargaze through it during your reception.
7. Nashdale Lane Wines
Nashdale Lane is a beautiful rustic style cellar door with views across vineyards to Mount Canobolas just outside. Stay onsite in stylish glamping tents and have your ceremony in the gardens with the vines and mountain in the background.
Nashdale Lane has award winning wines and facilities for catering onsite for weddings and events but only book a limited number of weddings each year.
8. Macquariedale Wines
Macquariedale Wines has one of the most impressive views from it’s cellar door in orange NSW. Tucked away in the Towac Valley near Mount Canobolas, Macquariedale is a spectacular venue with a beautiful barn style cellar door and internal fireplace, fire pits outside and views to kill for across the valley. They specialise is amazing wine, and their understanding of hospitality is exceptional. If you are looking for the best cheese platter in Orange NSW then go straight to Macquariedale! relatively new to the wedding scene, the cellar door offers a number of locations for ceremony sites - all stunning. The cellar door has a homely feel and the wine is absolutely delicious. Win win win!
