Dubbo Country Wedding NSW
Ellie & Tom
Ellie and Tom bought all of their besties out to their family property in Dubbo NSW for a weekend of celebrating their love and their wedding! Their ceremony in the paddock under blue skies and champagne (and fireball) chasers was gorgeous and all kinds of fun.
Tom and Ellie met at work - they are both teachers and Ellie got appointed to a school Tom worked at. Ellie said she can't really remember who made the first move but is pretty sure it was at a night out with friends from work. Ellie says she just had a feeling about Tom when she saw him. When it came time to propose, Ellie loves the Harbour Bridge so Tom took her for a beautiful lunch on the water and then went for a walk in a park near there. He then proposed with full view of the bridge. Ellie says it was very sweet and even better when Tom surprised her with a night in a hotel overlooking the city to celebrate.
These two hilarious humans made sure the whole day was full of fun and completely them. Ellie wore a stunning Made with Love dress and was surrounded by her sister’s and besties who wore terracotta Shona Joy dresses. Tom and his groomsmen looked dapper in his stylish MJ Bale suit and the floral theme was natives and Australia bush created by Denise’s Flower Studio.
Private property weddings mean you have to bring in all of your vendors - from marquees, to seating, to signage and catering. Taylor Made Weddings took care of a lot of the planning and helped their day go smoothly. As the sunset the skies were stunning and we headed out into the paddock for their wedding portraits in the golden light. After dark the sky was full of stars and the party kicked on into the wee hours of the morning with Maple Creek Music DJing !
