Marquee Wedding Dubbo NSW

Jessica & Robert

Jess and Rob's wedding was a modern and minimalist family affair, held on Rob's family property in Geurie near Dubbo - which flooded the week before the wedding! Luckily the water subsided next to the creek where they said their vows on a beautiful platform built by Rob’s dad under the gums. Jess and Rob met at a mutual friend’s party where Rob asked Jess for a quick dance. They had a boogie but didn’t cross paths again until the same friend’s next party. Jess said she spent the whole night trying to remember where she knew Rob from then clicked they had danced together. But it wasn’t until the next party they realised they had a little crush on each other. Shortly afterwards Rob rang Jess to ask her on a proper date and they’ve been inseparable since!

The reception marquee was incredible with the clear night stars twinkling above all the action. Family and friends combined with sentimental touches, canola fields, lots of tea and their gorgeous Jack Russell as ring bearer, Jess and Rob's Wedding was the epitome of a modern country wedding. Jess looked stunning in her simple and beautifully fitted Grace Loves Lace dress and Rob shined in his Peter Jackson suit.

Their delicious traditional dessert table was a huge hit, as was their choreographed first dance full of twirls and dips! As with all good private porety weddings the party went late into the night!
