I'm an experienced event photographer. Nearly 15 years photographing weddings and events - from festivals to award nights, gala dinners and conferences, in every type of lighting and venue you can imagine.
A Master of Fine Arts trained my eye. A Communications degree trained me to find the story. Together they mean I don't just take photos of your event. I find the images that make people stop, look and remember you were there.
I'm based in Orange NSW and work with businesses, brands and organisations across Orange, Dubbo, Bathurst, Mudgee and Central West NSW. My same day editing means your event images are live, shared and circulating on social media within hours of the last speech. Every shoot is relaxed, efficient and tailored completely to your brief. You'll end up with images that actually look like your event. Not stock photos that could belong to anyone.

I've been shooting events across Orange, Bathurst, Dubbo, Mudgee and Central West NSW for nearly 15 years. Fast-paced, high pressure, lots of moving parts — it's honestly one of my favourite things to do.
I arrive prepared, work efficiently and quietly, and make sure every important moment is captured — from keynote speakers and award presentations to candid networking moments and the atmosphere of the room. You'll barely notice I'm there. Your attendees absolutely will.

Hourly - from $450 + GST
Perfect for shorter events, presentations or award ceremonies. Fast turnaround, professionally edited. Approximately 50-100 edited images per hour. One hour, professionally edited, delivered within 72 hours.
Half Day - from $1,600 + GST (up to 4 hours)
Ideal for conferences, half day corporate events, morning or evening functions. The most popular option for most events.
Same Day and Live Event Editing - from $500
Need images within minutes of your event wrapping? Same day editing is available for award ceremonies, festivals and corporate events where fast turnaround is critical. Full gallery delivered within minutes to hours of the event conclusion.
Full Day - from $2,900 + GST(up to 8 hours)
For full day conferences, multi-session events, festivals and large corporate functions. Complete coverage from setup to close.
Inclusions and Travel
All packages include professionally edited, high resolution images delivered digitally. Travel within 1 hour of Orange NSW is included. Beyond that, travel is charged at $0.88/km plus $35/hour. Overnight accommodation is $250/night for locations more than 3 hours from Orange NSW.

How do I book event photography? Simple. Get in touch via the contact form or email hello@kirstencunningham.com with your event date, location and a brief overview of what you need. Kirsten will confirm availability and provide a tailored quote within 24 hours.
How quickly will we receive our images? Standard delivery is within 72 hours of your event. Same day editing is available as an add-on - images delivered within hours of your event concluding, ready to share with attendees, post to social media and send to sponsors before anyone has even left the venue.
What is same day editing and how does it work? Same day editing means Kirsten edits and delivers a selection of your best event images within hours of your event finishing. Perfect for award nights, product launches, conferences and any event where fast turnaround matters. Images are ready to share on social media, send to media contacts or distribute to attendees the same night. Available as an add-on from $500 + GST.
How many images will we receive? Event photography typically delivers 50-100 edited images per hour of coverage depending on the pace and type of event. A 4 hour conference might deliver 200-400 images. A fast-paced award night with lots of action might deliver more. All images are professionally edited, high resolution and delivered digitally.
Do you travel for events outside Orange? Yes. Kirsten regularly covers events across Orange, Dubbo, Bathurst, Mudgee and all of Central West NSW. Travel within 1 hour of Orange NSW is included in your package. Beyond that, travel is charged at $0.88/km plus $35/hour. Overnight accommodation is $250/night for events more than 3 hours from Orange NSW.
Can you photograph multi-day events or conferences? Absolutely. Multi-day events are quoted individually based on hours required each day, travel and same day delivery requirements. Just get in touch with your event details and Kirsten will provide a tailored package to suit your brief and budget.
What industries do you cover? All of them. Corporate businesses and organisations. Government departments and local councils. Mining, energy and resources companies. Legal and professional services firms. Industry associations and peak bodies. Not-for-profit organisations and charities. Universities and educational institutions. Do you shoot video as well as photos? Video is outsourced to trusted videographers. Kirsten is happy to connect you with the right person for your project or work alongside a videographer you've already booked.
Do you have public liability insurance? Yes. Current public liability insurance up to $20 million. A certificate of currency is available on request for venues and organisations that require it.
Can you provide a pre-event gallery setup? Yes. Pre-event gallery setup means your images are accessible to clients, attendees and media the moment your event wraps. No waiting, no delays - images are live and ready to share immediately. Ask about this when you enquire.
What equipment do you use? Professional grade camera bodies and lenses suited to event environments including low light conditions, fast movement and large venues. Kirsten carries backup equipment to every event so technical issues never affect your coverage.
